Job Expired after only 3 days?

I applied for a job transcribing a novelist's rough drafts a few days ago. I've been watching it carefully to see if she is interviewing anyone, and this morning I saw it had moved into my archives with the explanation, "Job Expired." (No one was hired.) This job was posted on March 14th, just 3 days ago. It was my understanding that jobs expire after 30 days of no activity. It's been 3 days. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Sorry to hear that.The client can close the job if they hired someone or decided not to hire anybody or Upwork can close a job if it's in violation of ToS. Thanks.
