I have seen it many times that proposals less than 5.  No bid range is displayed and interviewing 1 person.  Could not understand.

I have plus membership, you failed to notice my point, less than 5 applicants, I applied, 1 interview that is not of me, that means at least 1 another freelancer, but no bid range, stranage.

It is now showing bid range, may be it takes time to update the bid range, if in future I come across such a thing, I will definitely get back to upwork with screenshot.

I've noticed that issue on newly posted jobs, too, Tarpinder. Sometimes there's a substantial lag time in showing bid ranges though it's clear at least two people applied.
