why does Clients prefer job interviews to use other than using Upwork messenger? Some prefer Skype, and other methods?

Hi Deanna,

We understand that users may have a preference for other means of communication. However, please note that communicating outside of Upwork before a contract is in place is against the Terms of Service. After you've been hired, you are free to use Skype, and other methods if you prefer. I know they can be helpful, specially for file sharing.
