Job Search Filters

Is there a job search filter that lets me search for jobs in my specialty by location?  EG.. what if I only work in California?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Upwork's USP, it appears, isn't in local jobs.

Upwork is mostly a place for work that can be done remotely via the Internets.

Hi Ken, 

We do not have a filter that narrows it down per city or state. As a U.S. freelancer, you have the option of going through your U.S.-only job feed, and searching for clients located in the U.S.

hi there, how do i get to this filter pop up??? the advanced search options are all about keywords, i cannot find this larger more specific pop up.

It's not obvious. On the main Job Feed screen, click the search icon above the feed. You don't have to enter a search string. On the next page, click the filter button and you'll get the screen that Avery showed above.
