Hi

I have 3 jobs in my profile out of which 2 are complete (with 5 star rating) and one is in progress. I have got a JSS of 88%. Just wanted to understand why the JSS is 88% when both completed jobs have 5 star rating.

The public stars have little impact on JSS, it is mainly private feedback (rating 1-10) that counts.

Who gives the private feedback and when?

The client, when closing the contract.

By the way, canceled and fully refunded contracts also count...

It is highly unlikely that either of my two clients would have given an adverse rating. Also I do not have any cancelled or refunded contracts. Could there be any other reason for this?

One of my clients whose work is in progress changed the name in which he is operating on Upwork without closing the ongoping contract....the contract continues as before...only change is that I can see the client with his new name....can this affect the JSS?

No, of course not.

It was private feedback. It can't have been anything else.

One of the clients probably gave 7/10 private rating.
