I'm a new freelancer on Upwork and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to build a client base when they all want a Job Success Score which can only be obtained by having successful outcomes with past clients.
How do I get clients without a Job Success Score?
Any advice would be truly appreciated.
Just find the jobs that you're very well qualified for and ignore that requirement. Some clients are flexible on that. Others just left the defaults in place when they posted and don't even realize they're asking for 90% JSS.
We all started without JSS and we all got clients. You will, too, if you target your proposals and focus on the jobs that are the best possible fit for you.
ETA: You may want to remove the first paragraph of your overview, or at least move it down. A client quickly glancing at profiles may write you off in the first few lines and never get to the part where you talk about actual experience.
