Keep my Upwork account for a long period of incativity

I have a long term contract out of Upwork. It will take a year or more. During this time I cannot take Upwork jobs. I want to continue to use Upwork after this contract.

Will my Upwork account be blocked due to inactivity? Should I do something to prevent blocking my account?

It won't be blocked. In a month without earnings, your profile will be set to private and it won't be available through search. When you are back, you can request for it to be public again via the support
