Late in payment to the local bank account...

I had selected the local bank payment option for getting payments.It's already been 2 days late from the expected date as sent by Upwork.

Can anybody answer me ASAP?

Hi Abhijit,

Just to confirm that your withdrawal from Upwork was successful.
It can take up to 5 business days for the funds to be loaded on your bank account. If you do not receive your funds after 8 business days contact us here, and our team will initiate a trace on your transaction.

Once 8 days have passed you can contact support and they will initiate a trace through the banks. Be aware that a trace takes days to weeks and almost always the funds turn up either back in the freelancer's Upwork account or in the bank account they were sent to before the trace comes back.

Once the money is in the banking system Upwork can neither "see" it nor do anything about where it is or going.
