Hello, Upwork community! I believe it's time we come together to voice our concerns regarding the ongoing "Connect War" situation. As freelancers, we understand the importance of connects for submitting proposals, but the increasing cost and competition have become a barrier to accessing quality projects.

Let's unite and make a collective request to Upwork, urging them to reassess the connect system and find a more equitable solution. Join me in this endeavor to improve our experience on the platform and ensure fair opportunities for all. Together, our voices can make a difference!

Useless. You have agree ToS where you agree with anything what Upwork will do.

One way available: you can unite with someone then leave platform together. Nothing else. But an 100 newbies will register instead. And waste own money too. With good AD this newbies unlimited.

If you look at my profile, you will notice that I have been here for a long time. Yes, you can express yourself freely in the community. I often criticize what I don't like and I haven't been banned. But there is another point: no one from Upwork cares about this. 🙂

I WANT more friction and higher entry barriers for freelancers. The market is satuarated with freelancers and competition is fierce and I fully support the use of connects to help contain it. So don't assume all freeelancers want the same thing as you do. I know that many other freelancers share similar sentiments to mine.

Having said that, the bidding system should be dumped completely.
