I understand under the profile settings, that you can link say Facebook. I was under the impression you could do the same with your linkedin profile. Yet,, I cant seem to figure out how to. Any suggestions?

You can't link to any social media--you're not allowed to provide contact outside the site on your profile. Upwork does allow you to link your ACCOUNT to a social media account, but that's for verification purposes. It isn't publicly visible.

The option to do that with LinkedIn was removed when LinkedIn started a competing freelance service.
