I understand I cannot add my LinkedIn to my Upwork profile. Is it ok, to have "Connect with me on Linked In" in my profile?

No, it is not. You must not communicate (or "connect") with clients before a contract is in place and to blatantly ask for such a communication on the profile is worse than just adding your profile (which is already forbidden) because it straight out asks for forbidden behaviour.

Posting contact information isn’t allowed in your profile. We know sharing your past work is important. Therefore, you can share links to external portfolios when you submit proposals. We understand that external portfolios may include contact information, please make sure to ask the client to only contact you via Upwork until a contract is in place.
