Location in Profile

Hi.

I would like to change the location visible in my profile without changing the address on my account. I live in a small town in Wisconsin, but I'm actually local to the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area, and I'd prefer that as my profile location. Is it possible to have my visible location say: Minneapolis/St. Paul Area?

Sorry. Not possible.

Upwork requires that freelancers provide their actual location. Meaning: Where they live currently.

But that is fine, because all you need to do to accomplish your goal is to specify "Minneapolis/St. Paul Area" in either your profile overview text or your profile headline.
