I am based in the Midwest of the USA, and I opened a freelancer account today. When I attempt to submit a proposal the system says I don;t meet the criteria because I'm not in the US. This is clearly incorrect as my home city in WI is clearly shown in my profile. Is there a solution?

Have you gone though the verification process and uploaded your ID to Upwork to verify you are in the US?

I don't recall receiving a request for an ID.
