Avery - It looks like that support article doesn't work.
Well, thanks for setting my profile back to public, however, I don't see any incentive to continue putting the amount of fruitless effort I have into countless proposals on a platform that not only wants to take a percentage the payments I recieve, but also randomly sets my profile to private until I pay a premium fee. Frankly, this is not the type of environment I want to participate in.

This happened to me! I am trying my best and received a rising talent badge earlier. I am sure I would start earning soon.
Setting my account to private disappoint's me . Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve reset your profile visibility back to public. Just so that you are aware, profiles of freelancers with a history of earnings on the platform will remain public unless they have not earned in more than 2 years. Profiles of new freelancers who haven’t earned on Upwork will be set to private after 90 days.To avoid this, you can resume earnings on a new contract or upgrade your membership to the Plus plan.
