I took a long break from working online and upon coming back my profile visibility was set to private. I have applied for several jobs and dont believe my applications are been seen. Please help.
Rest assured, clients are able to see your proposals even if your profile is private. That said, I went ahead and reset your profile visibility back to public.
It seems disappointing to see your mail which shows that my account has been changed from the public into private and it's 2nd time even though I was applied to many jobs recently. I guess they're giving priority only to premium members rather than free members. In fact, I haven't got any single project since I started with Upwork which is almost a year.
I haven't seen any positive outcome by being an Upwork freelancer so far so I wish to close my account.
