Hello!

I work with editing and have to work on a project this week. Currently my pc can't handle the many hundreds of GBs of footage the project carries and the deadline is short. I was wondering about using my brother's computer as it would work quite well. Thing is obviously I'd be logged in two computers and we are in the same house, so same ip address. And he also has an Upwork profile. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but I imagine Upwork might think I have two accounts. Have any of you ever been in a similar situation?

Upwork has no rule against logging in from multiple computers. Lots of us do that. I do.

Your brother has an account?

Do not worry about this. As long as you are not breaking any rules, then you will be fine. If Upwork investigates, they will find that you are legitimately using the platform.

You and your brother could both appear together on video and that would put to rest anybody's theory that you don't really have a brother.
