We have an hourly contract with the client from May to July. The total payment under the contract is $ 637. We closed the contract today.
If this customer once again offers me a contract, will this be considered a long-term relationship, and the commission will already be at a reduced rate?
Or is there any time limit?
Many thanks!

Hi Elizaveta,
Of the clients you’ve worked with within the past year, the percentage of long-term clients metric shows the clients you worked with for at least three months. This could be over one or multiple contracts and could be hourly or fixed-price work.
You can check out this help article for more information. Thank you.

The fee will be 10% as the client has already paid your over $500. To get the reduced fee, the only thing that matters is the threshold ($500 for 10% and $10.000 for 5%).
There is no time limit for that. It will be 10% if the client hires you again next week or in 2 years time.
