Longterm contract is in hold? Why??

I am working for a client since 5 months. Since in start there was more work to do but now only few minutes work for this client. Like 2 to 3 minutes.

Why my that longterm contract is on hold??

AR,

 

Almost certainly because your client put it on hold.

Your best bet would be to contact your client directly, and then ask them.

*IS* the contract on hold or is the client just not giving you as much work as you liked?

 

If it is actually on hold and Upwork sent you a message to that effect, that means the client's account is on hold and the client needs to sort out whatever the issues are with the client's account with Upwork.


Edited to add: William, clients can "pause" contracts, not put them on hold.

If it says "on hold" then Upwork (temporarily) suspended the client, most often due to payment issues

No, this is HOLD by work.

 

You are correct, this was because of client account.

 

So what should I do?

 

And this HOLD will effect my score and my profile? Please confirm.

Hi Abdul,

 

Make sure to stop working on your suspended contract and continue only after you can see that the contract has been resumed. While we can't share any details, please ask your client to follow up on the notification they recently received and communicate with our team in order to resolve the issue with their account and resume your contract.

Client is not replying.

 

In case, client will not repy me, will not unhold my account, will not end contract.

 

so what will be the solution? And I know without any feedback contract effect badly my score.

No. You earned money under that contract, so there is no chance of it having a negative impact on your JSS.

Contracts without feedback do NOT affect your JSS unless nothing was paid.

 

And either way: Because the client is suspended, the contract is excuded from your JSS anyway.
