Lose dispute

Hello Freelancers,
I have a dispute with one client, saying that the translation had a lot of mistakes and poor quality.
I am about to dispute this, but what happens if the dispute is lost?
Will my Js score be affected?
What if I choose to remove the critic? Will the same case still effect me?

Is the contract closed? If so, the feedback has already been left if the client closed it, and that's what affects the JSS. A dispute as such doesn't. Who wins the dispute is irrelevant (nobody wins a dispue as such, as Upwork doees not decide who is right or wrong).

You can use your top rated perk to remove the effect of the contract on your JSS, provided you haven't used it in the last 3 months and 10 contract.

The contract has closed an the rate is fixed.

OK, so the effect on the JSS has already happened. You'll see it at the next update. The next step will be the dispute mediation, which is basically Upwork trying to get the client and you to agree on a resolution.

 

If no resolution can be found, you'd get the choice to go to arbitration, but that comes at a cost of $291 each.
