Hello,
Although oDesk notifications and message notifications are ajax, but they're not enough. It would be better if the messaging system also ajax like Facebook.
If it's ajax, clients and contractors can have better communication in oDesk without a need to communicate in third-party chat (like Facebook, Yahoo! Messenger, Skype, etc).
