Managing Client Preferences: Dealing with Communication Outside Upwork

How do you handle clients who prefer to communicate through external channels like email or phone, rather than using Upwork's messaging system? Any tips for ensuring a smooth and secure transition while still complying with Upwork's policies?

Do NOT talk to any client outside of the platform BEFORE a contract is in place! Afterwards you can share your email, Skype address, etc., but not before.

Telegram means SCAM 99.99% of the times, and the same goes with typing.

Take Elisa's advice.

The best way to handle clients who prefer to communicate through external channels before a contact is in place is to ignore them.
