With all the discussions about the new "my stats" page, is this not the section (see attachment, shot of my profile today) that matters most?
If you are not hired more than others, does the discussion really matter? (And this is all prior to the new changes - though I like the fact that I can see this type of comparative data.)
Me thinks that if you do a great job and are client-friendly, you'll do just fine, with or without the changes. I haven't changed anything in regards to the new format, and contracts still keep rolling in, (and, per the data, more than for most others...).
(Though I am kind of pissed I have yet to recieve that email about being a top-rated oDesker 😉
