Last night I was asked to edit a very poorly written 15 page medical document for a "test." I edited three of the pages and sent it back. I am an experienced medical editor and it is obvious that I'm capable of the work, which is what the client told me; then she asked me to edit the rest and she would make me an offer. Who is stupid enough to fall for this and why are scammers like this allowed on O-Desk??????????

Why did you do three pages? I you wanted to give a sample 2-300 words max would have been perfectly adequate to assess you for the job. Scammers need scammees.

Giving away 3 pages of work is far too much.
