Messages not functioning properly

Lately I have discovered messages to be extremely unrelaible and not working correctly. For example:

 

- Website/app doesnt sort messages after latest responded message

- It shows some random old thread when I click "messages" (website), not the latest one

- No notifications from app (phone and desktop) when recieving a new message. This one actually cost me a job where a client message form last night went unoticed. This happens a lot, I go into the messages and discover someone has written me by chance - no "1" next to icon, or any other notification delivered (my notification settings are set to on and it works most of the time).

 

On top of that, you cant paste text into a message wihtout it creating some strange attachment. 

 

Anyone else having problems with messages?

Hi Erik,

 

How's your messages sorting set up? For me its set as All Recent and I haven't had any issues with this. If it's the same for you could please change it to something else and select All Recent again.

For the app issues did you tried the troubleshooting steps listed in this guides: General Mobile App Troubleshooting and Mobile App Notifications Troubleshooting. If you`re still experiencing the same issues after this let me know. Thank you.

Is your message system still broken?

Client sent me the offer last night. I send him my questions in three separate rooms. He was green for a long time, as online, and he didn't respond none.

I submitted a ticket already, but wanted to discuss issue here, as well.

Are you referring to email notifications or notifications on your Upwork account?

Both. There was no kind of notification. Usually I see it as bold or green on my messages dashboard. It missed this time.

It's strange that I had the same exact problem on 30 Octomber(i got no notification for messages received on that day), but I had the bad luck of accidentaly checking the messages 5 days later and now understandably the client is not happy with me.
