Messages page loading and can't open?

I'm trying to enter the messages window but it's loading forever and it's not due to slow internet. Is the messages window down or something? Please help, I have a client to contact and I can't reach out to them OUTSIDE upwork, because that's outside the rules of the platform.

You can communicate with your client via any means.
Violation is if you are being payed outside UpWork.

Have you tried the usual stuff? Clearing cache, restarting your system?
Can you reach your messages via UpWork application?
