Missing Free 50 Connects

Hi everyone!

I recently joined Upwork as a new freelancer, and I read that new members typically receive 50 free connects to help them get started. However, I haven’t received them and i want to know why

Same is the problem with me. I have joined upwork few weeks ago but I havent received a single connect. Neither the new joining connects nor the monthly free connects

Upwork requires new freelancers to subscribe to Freelancer Plus for $20 USD/month or purchase 100 Connects for $15 USD to submit their first proposal. After doing this, you will get the 50 free Connects that freelancers usually receive when creating a new account.

Like a week ago, my friend got 50 connects for free without subscribing to Upwork Freelancer Plus.

If they are getting free connects without subscribing then why cant we??
