Hi Everyone!
I must appreciate upwork for their day to day improvements in the system for the ease of Freelancers and Clients as well. But I think Upwork should start motivation compaign for freelancers who have good repute or how are in struggling phase. That could help freelancers to be intact and keep them struggling. Like Youtube do, for youtubers motivations, youtube management have alot of stuff (gold buttons, appreciation letters etc.).
We don't have anything practical from upwork (no appreciation letter in hard copy, no shields nothing).
I want if I'm not a youtuber no problem I don't have any but upwork should ket us feel proud being #UpWorker 🙂
Sincerely
Ghulam
I got gold stars when I was good in elementary school... nah, too old for that.

I thought that the "Rising Talent" programme was meant to cover this? We also get feedback stars, a JSS rating, and a Top Rated badge (for those who qualify).

Clients paying me and becoming long term clients is motivation enough for me. Having the freedom/independence to choose the "who" and "what" in terms of work is also highly motivating.
IMHO it's up to YOU to motivate yourself, not Upwork.

Knowing that you have a dreaded task at the top of your list can lead to procrastination. We tend to think: 'If I don't actually start work, I won't have to do that boring job'.
Propercorn founder Cassandra Stavrou has a workplace tradition of beginning the day with 'swallow the frog'. Each employee has a toy frog on their desk and it represents that one, dreaded task. Complete it and the frog can leave your desk. You can then get on with the work you actually want to be doing.

I prefer money over badges, gold stars, or inspirational letters.
