Hello all ,
I am an IT specialist from Baghdad , Iraq , and living between Iraq and Lebanon, recently i wanted to create a payment method on outwork but my account put on Hold . i don't know what is the main reason for this. please if someone help me i have all the documents needed .

That is not accepted , let me explain my inquiry if i used a lebanon payment information but my passport is Iraqi is that Illegal?
Upwork must be for all worldwide and you should find a solution for help me.

Thanks for reply , My mother country is Iraq and im living between Iraq and Lebanon but due to COVID-19 i stayed in Iraq in the last period .

This may have changed, but neither Iraq nor Lebanon are on Upwork's restricted list. I personally know two people who live in Lebanon and have been Upwork freelancers (and clients) for years.

I am sure Iraq and Libanon place him on the Specially Designated Nationals ("SDN") list and the link takes you to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It is easier to just turn down new freelancers from these countries.
