Hello Upworkers,
so I recently started working on a project with a client from the Uk but she has become unresponsive, what can I do ? I have even try to send her an email, and she doesn't answer.
I'm scared about my review and I actually provided a first draft to my client for the project but she never responded... what should I do?
this is my first time happening and I don't know If I should contact Upwork...?
Thanks everyone
Best Regards

Why would you contact Upwork?
If you have work to do for that client, do it.
If you have submitted work, wait for the client to contact you, surely you understand that if she wants to contact you, she knows how to find you?
Don't harass the client, that rarely ends well.
Is it a fixed rate or an hourly contract?

Send the work via the "submit work/request payment" option. Then do NOTHING ELSE. (Re-submitting or fiddling with the "submit work" mechanism will re-set the 14-day "clock" on your payment.)
Given that this client's behavior is distressing to you, I would suggest that you (1) in the future avoid working with clients whose feedback indicates that they are unresponsive; and (2) leave appropriate, factual, professional feedback indicating both what was good and what was a drawback about your own experience with this client, so that other freelancers can make their own decisions (re under what conditions they will choose to work with this client) based on good information.

Hi Ernesto,
When you have completed your work, you need to submit it for review using the submit/request payment button. Once you do that your client has 14 days from the time you submit work on a project, to review the work and release a payment. If the client does not take any action within 14 days, then the payment is automatically released to you. You can still communicate with your client and attempt to resolve the situation amicably.

When I finished a fixed-price milestone, I submit it immediately using the Submit Work / Request Payment button.
I rarely use another method to notify the client (such as email, Upwork messenger/chat tool).
The official Submit button notifies the client AND it provides the client an official way to request revisions if necessary.
If the client does not respond, that is her way of saying everything is fine with the work and she is happy to have all the money in escrow released to me.
It is really a simple system once you get used to it.

I've had clients go unresponsive on me a few times, most of the time I've already done the work so I just had to submit it and wait 14 days for the payment to be released. I think every time that happened I never heard from them again and they didn't leave feedback.
