My client's status shows offline while he chatting me.

Hi,
Whenever I chat with someone clients on Upwork, his status shows in my Upwork messenger offline while he is chatting/messaging me. Why is it? is it an issue?

Your client wisely set his visibility not to show if they are online or offline.
