My client thinks that he has paid me, but he did NOT! :)

My client is still new to the platform. He did put the money on the Escrow, and that's why he thinks that he has paid me. After submitting the work, he liked the work and appreciated it.

Now, he is not responsive at all. So, I can't get to him to explain how he should release the funds. What should I do?

Clients aren't required to be responsive.

If this was me:

I click the button. Client does nothing. Then I get paid automatically.

Stop communicating with him. No more requests. Just click the button. If you already clicked it, do NOT click it again, because that would restart the countdown clock.

Hi Mohammed,

In addition to the information Preston shared with you, the client has 14 days from the most recent submission on a milestone to review and approve or request changes. If your client doesn't respond to any milestone submission within 14 days, the deposit is automatically released to you. You can check this help article for more information.
