My client wants to give me access to his upwork account

My client wants to give me access to his account for accounting purpose, while we are in an active contract. He cannot add my upwork email id to creat a child account to give me user permission. I gave another email ID but didn't get any invitation email from upwork. Please guide me in this regard. Thank you in advance.
