It's been a long time since I set up my profile, so perhaps I'm forgetting something obvious, but I'm confused about where you're "listing yourself" as a level at all. I don't recall being asked to make that choice, and I can't find that type of information anywhere on my profile or yours.

Clients do NOT see this, it's used for matching / sorting purposes.
You can find the page where you set it HERE
Mary, by all means set yourself to Intermediate!

Thanks, Petra. I had forgotten all about that.
FWIW, I've seen no indication that it WORKS for matching. I get recommendations all the time for jobs across all three experience levels.

These days we have to be grateful if we can get on the site at all, never mind expecting anything to actually WORK 😉

Not just job recommendations - I constantly get invites for Intermediate although I've checked Expert in my settings. 4 just today, $20-$50 fixed price on projects that I'd usually charge 6x to 10x times that. If that's the case with Expert, I really don't want to imagine what comes your way with Entry level chosen. So Mary, list yourself at least as an Intermediate - if nothing else, it should help a bit to curate the job feed you see and filter out at least some of the fodder.

So sorry! I accepted my own comment as answer. Now, that's embarrassing!
Definitely a beginner mistake
