My proposals aren't being seen?

Hello everyone,

I've been sending a lot of proposals and I have not recieved any messages back from clients. One of these clients did happen to provide his email with his job posting. I emailed this client to let them know that I sent my portfolio and a proposal to his job posting through Upwork. He sent me an email back saying that he could not find my proposal at all. Is it possible that there may be some sort of glitch with my Upwork account?

I doubt it. Never contact a client outside of upwork before hire, that is not allowed.
