NEW CONTRACT INSTEAD OF MILESTONE

I have a client that gives me a new milestone every week. But I want to ask him to end the contract, give a feedback, and rehire me instead of continuing on one contract. I believe this will help me more instead of just working on the single contract for long. Will I break any rule by asking this?
