Name greyed out in "applicants" list

Hi, I'm new to odesk and I applied for my first job today. My profile was shortly "hidden" today (I had an incorrect profile portrait as I hadn't checked the profile picture rules properly) I rectified my problem, but found that my name had become greyed out in the application list and I'm not entirely sure what that means or how to rectify it. Unfortunately it seems as though during my downtime, the other applicant for the job was hired, though the job is still listed when I search for it and I haven't had a response from the client. Anyone able to shed some light on my situation? Thanks.

Welcome to oDesk, Dayle! Your name was greyed in the applicants list, probably because your profile was still set to private at that time. It looks like you have switched it back to public since then. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
