Need Help to Get back my Connects from Bids I withdrew....

Hi, I bid for two projects here on Upwork. After few days of virtual silence from the clients, I visited the project page and saw that the client had hired other freelancers BUT the client had not closed the project, as I think he or she should have. So I withdrew my bid, knowing' that I had not been chosen. Now, My question is this: the bids I submitted had the condition that my bid connects would be refunded if the client rejected my proposal or bid. Now I withdrew, So, do I get my connects back? If yes, I have not got them back yet? I need them to bid for other projects. I do not know why clients do not choose a freelancer and tell the rest they have not been chosen. Please help me get my Connects back. Thank you.

You never get connects back when the client hires other freelancers.

Hi, yes you do because the project page had this written on it : the
connects are refundable if project not awarded to you...

"Refunded if client doesn't hire" does not mean "Refunded if client does not hire you"

The client hired. No refund.

No, you misread. It's jobs that don't hire. Like no hires at all. It's not jobs that don't hire you.

You got this wrong. Connects are never refunded when someone else is hired or when you withdraw your application.
