Could someone post the link to add a social account? I found it on a support page but clicked away, and now it's not an active link anymore. Thanks.

Hi Jacqueline,
Are you referring ot linked accounts on your Profile Settings page? You may go to Settings > Profile Settings to access this page, to link your social media pages to your Upwork account.

Hey,
Hover over 'Find work' then Profile
on the right hand side click on profile settings, then you will probably have to answer your security question and enter password for your login account.
after that if you scroll down at the bottom of the page you will see the options to link your social accoutns.
hope this helps.
Best,
Fahad

Nope. That is not how it works.

Social Media links are NOT allowed on your Profile, in your Portfolio, or anywhere else (such as Employment history).
Social Media links allow perspective clients to contact you outside Upwork. You already know that is almost as bad as telling a client you will accept payment outside Upwork.
And for both of you in this thread: No content on your Upwork profile can contain any links to any other website that would allow a perspective client to contact you.
The settings area in our account that allows us to input social links is for internal verification of you. If you put links in that area, certain teams on the Upwork side use them to confirm your identity.
Note: ask me about sock puppets sometime.

I"m trying to link my social media to up work but after clicking that link it doesn't seem to work. so my profile verification stuck at 90% and I can't give apply for readiness test.

Hi Harsh,
Connecting Upwork to a social media account isn't a requirement for a 100% profile. Taking and displaying a few skill tests along with completing other sections will also allow freelancers to achieve a 100% complete profiles as you can see in this help article.
You should be able to attend the Upwork Readiness test by using this link.
Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you.

Note to Upwork; If you are going to allow links to Behance, Dribble, Google+, DeviantART - then it seems only logical to include LinkedIn.

They are not links as such. They show nowhere on your profile at all. They are for nebulous internal Upwork purposes...
When my computer (or Internet) was super slow a few weeks ago loading a profile page took forever, and it was very interesting to watch what "handshakes" it went through while loading...

It used to be there. But my speculation is that ever since they, LinkedIn start a job board, it was removed.
