From last 21 days i am trying to purchase connects but facing payment failed error, i have tried diff debit cards still it gives error while purchasing.
Please guide me through this payment error i am stuck with no connects.

Hi. I'm Suman Haldar. I'm using upwork for few months and before I used a payment method mastercard from my bank SBI that worked but recent I'm faceing issue to use my debit card to buy connect and membership. This happened after covid.Somehow my old master card Upwork is not accepting. I have tried 3 different cards same issue. can You please help? Thank You,stay safe.

I have tried a lot but facing this massage again and again. My Visa card is active and I have sufficient money too in my card. please sort out this issue.

Hi sir. I have confirmed from my bank and there is everything right with my payment method. My Visa card working perfectly and I can use it on all other channels except Upwork. Please check out your side and guide me.

Hi,

I have tried buying connects many times and it's failed at all. I have removed my master card sevral time and added back the card to check if this way wold work but no success.

Thank you for your reply.

 

Please find attached the screenshot.After processing the payment,it returns back on the same buying connects page without adding bought connects,however the amount is not deducted from the card as well.This issue comes all the time at any number of attempt.

Actually, I used this existing card on upword and so bought many connects.The issues started later on.

I tried on another browser and also cleared catches & cookies.The problem still remains.

I can't seem to purchase additional connects. The dropdown box is greyed out. Is there a reason why I'm not allowed?

Hello, Whenever I am paying for buying additional connects in free membership its working but I am trying to buy the plus membership and its saying that "payment cannot be processed choose another method"

I would suggest to check with your bank if your account is enabled for international charges or adding another Billing Method. Thank you.

Hi there!

 

I am unable to buy more connects due to some issue. I have added my payment method and would like to pay via Debit Card.

 

PayPal doesn't have wallet option in India hence I am stuck with using a debit card but I am unable to make the payment.

 

I would like to buy 40 connects.

I checked and it looks like the charge on your credit card keeps getting declined. Please make sure your card is set up to make international payments and has sufficient funds on it to complete the funding.

Please contact your card-issuing bank to confirm if they allow recurring transactions on your debit cards as Upwork payments are classified as ‘recurring’.

Did you perform any international transaction(s) using your card in the last few months? If NOT, most likely your bank may have disabled international transactions as per the new mandate. You may want to check that through mobile banking or net banking and then try again.

I am trying to add a new Billing Method, so I can upgrade my membership but having an error saying " We are unable to authorize your card". I am using these cards for any online transaction without any issue at all. I tried both VISA(LBP) ad Master Card(BDO) but both didn't work. Anyone, experience this from Philippines? Is there still a live chat here on UPWORK? I am not able to find it anymore.
