Negatives of Cancelling Contract?

Hi all, I really hope someone can help me! I have accepted a contract and I don't want to finish it. The client has sent me out of Upwork for some incredibly detailed instructions and a difficult system for delivering the work. I have tried it and they aren't happy with the work. I don't want to continue with it and don't care about getting paid for it, I just don't want it to impact my JSS!

If I cancel and refund the money in escrow, I know they can't leave feedback but will it negatively impact my job success score? I've worked hard to get to 97%

Yes. >Contracts that do not lead to any earnings negatively affect your JSS if they end without or with poor private feedback.
