New Scam by Client

Now i am getting multiple chats on which client is asking me to buy domain and hosting and they wil pay me the payment on upwork and they never pay it 😞

They scammers will continue to try new techniques to trick freelancers,

1. never communicate outside upwork

2. never pay for anything, you are the freelancer, not the buyer

3. read all of the Upwork rules / watch the courses / webinars / blogs, etc.

4. speak to your client on a zoom call through upwork, get a feel and never start work before the contract is accepted.

Yes, even these above may not protect you 100% but I see that most of those getting scammed do not adhere to the above!

Tell these clients you don't buy things for clients that they can easily buy for themselves. 

If there is a chargeback against this project you will have spent money on their behalf that you cannot be reimbursed for. And they'll have the domain and hosting service they're looking for.
