Hi,
I think something in the messaging flagging is not working properly. When I responded to an invitation from a client this morning, I immediately got a message flag saying I had a new message. The most recent message I saw when I went to the message area was the one I had just sent.
Why is the system flagging my outgoing message responding to an invitation as a new one?
This looks like a new problem since the maintenance shut down.

That, oddly enough (since I so rarely get private invites) happened to me this morning. Exactly like that. In addition my message to said client, which generated the "new message" icon notification, also generated what I consider a typical message to my email, typical at least when I get any kind of new message via the Upwork Message Center.

I'm not particularly bothered by this, but for sure, if it happened to two people today, it probably happened to many more who shrugged it off, or simply found no way to report it. (because even submitting a help desk ticket seems to be really hard to do these days).
