Hello.

I just started working on upwork four months ago and I would like to file my taxes. Does Upwork send out w2s for US freelancers? If so, when? And if not, how do I handle my tax return?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Freelancers who qualify will receive W-2 or 1099-K from Upwork. You can find out more about that from this help article. You may need to talk to a tax adviser on how to report your earnings and taxes.
