Hello! I am totally new to upwork, and do not have any ratings or testemonials. I have made quite a few bids, with no response. I do not have a work history or resume that shows my skills in my area (editing and proofreading) because I am new to the field. I do have an article that I wrote, and I would like to use it to demonstrate my skill in different formats - MLA, Chicago style, and so forth. I see that I can attach examples of my work to destinct bids in the cover letter, but I'm wondering if there is a way to attach the documents to my profile? Thanks.

Add it to the portfolio in your profile. It should be right above the skills section.
