Nihil novi (nothing new) ?

I was blackmailed by client. I suppose it does not break Upwork TOS. Am I right?


Here is my story:


Client asked me to do small job. Next project for him (adding new parts to his newsletter. It could take about 2h).

 

I gave him the price for this service. Client was not happy with the price. He threatened me.

 

Something like this:

"Do the job for free or I will give you negative feedback".


So I contacted Upwork staff. Today my request was closed.


Can I ask Upwork Support to delete negative feedback because client broken Upwork TOS?

I did for him about 6 projects. I was not very happy with the price.

 

So on last project I asked him for better price. My hourly rate is $25 . 

 

I just want to delete his feedback from my "jobs history". I am not sure if Upwork could do this.

 

The client spent on Upwork more than $50k so I think he can break Upwork TOS.

It is true that Upwork doesn't delete feedbacks. You may want to drop the ticket # here, so one of the mods can have a look. Sometimes they may help to deal with difficult cases...
