I've just discovered that 3 days ago I was asked to apply for a job. Unfortunately I received no email about this and now the job is gone to someone else. Also, it's not showing up in my notifications but did show up in the Applications area. What's up with the email system? This is not the first time this has happened to me. I can't afford to lost $30 an hour jobs.

Hi Jean, Unfortunately, oDesk does have techy problems from time to time. A few of us have experienced problems. These days I just have to log in regularly and check my account directly. It shouldn't be that way because email notifications are supposed to make things easier, but that's what I have to do.
