No connect

I created my upwork account at least 3-4 years ago. Then my profile was not completed fully. Recently I completed my profile to 100%. But, now there is no connect in my profile. But, my friend told me that upwork gives 60 connects/month. What should I do then?

Did you select a membership type? Has your profile been approved?
