No contract effect on JSS

Hello,
will having no contracts for a while negatively affect my Job Success Score? Or the JSS will remain the same within the time?

Thanks, Hayk

It can have 3 possible outcomes. Negative, Positive or Nothing. If not enough time passes it will most likely remain the same. If enough time passes some of your older jobs might no longer be counted in the calculation. So let us say you had a 100% JSS, but then a high revenue job was no longer part of the calculation, when you return your JSS could be reduced significantly.

On the other hand let's say you have a JSS of 60% but now it is a very low scoring project that is no longer part of the calculation. Your JSS in most cases would increase. So yes, no contracts will affect you JSS, how just depends.

How long are we talking about? A few months, should be mostly neutral. A year? Could impact. The JSS is based on the best of 3 windows: 6 months, 12 months, 24 months. It depends on what your JSS is now, the number of outcomes in the windows, and what they are.
