No jobs since merger

I joined Upwork in January 2019.  After gradually picking up more and more writing/proofreading/editing business, I have not been hired at all since the merger.  What is going on?

Master's degree

Over 20 years' experience

Have written an ebook, articles, press releases, publicity materials

Edited a textbook and a memoir, both published

Edited many academic papers, articles, legal documents, grant applications

The merger? That was in 2013 / 2014...
