No payment received

Hi, I'm new to Upwork. Finished a job, the client was happy, the system created an automatic invoice. Unfortunately I haven't received payment yet. Do I need to do something with the invoice? Please help :). Thank you! Olivier

Hi! What was your solution? I just finished my first job with a client and am not seeing the payment agreed upon or the reviews we left each other on my profile. Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,

 

I checked your account and it looks like you have an hourly contract. For hourly contracts, the hours you logged are automatically invoiced to your client and funds become available following the schedule below: 

 

  • Week 1 – Freelancer logs time using the Upwork desktop app and Work Diary.
  • Week 2 – Hours within the weekly limit invoice to your clients on Monday. They have until Friday to review the work. Then the review period ends.
  • Week 3 – Earnings become available on the following Wednesday.
